God's message to Men and Women
When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils. But you, woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils are too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you.
Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the creativity. From one bone I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects man's life. I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do.
Around this one bone I shaped you. I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully. Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart. His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart.
Support man as the rib cage supports the body. You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and be held close to his side. You are my perfect angel. You are my beautiful little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and my eyes fill when I see the virtue in your heart. Your eyes -- don't change them. Your lips -- how lovely when they part in prayer. Your nose so perfect in form, your hands so gentle to touch.
I've caressed your face in your deepest sleep; I've held your heart close to mine. Of all that lives and breathes, you are the most like me.
Adam walked with me in the cool of the day and yet he was lonely. He could not see me or touch me. He could only feel me. So everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with me, I fashioned in you: my holiness, my strength, my purity, my love, my protection and support.
You are special because you are the extension of me. Man represents my image -- woman, my emotions. Together, you represent the totality of God.
So man -- "treat woman well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile". In hurting her, you hurt me. What you do to her, you do to me. In crushing her, you only damage your own heart, the heart of your Father and the heart of her Father.
Woman, support man. In humility, show him the power of emotion I have given you. In gentle quietness show your strength. In love, show him that you are the rib that protects his inner self.

EMOTIONS
We cannot see the stars during the day.
Only in the night, we could savor the beauties of the twinkling stars.
Like the daytime brightness, during times of prosperity, we tend to forget the Maker.
The late Dr. Wee Kim Wee, the ex President of Singapore (who hosted my birthday celebration at the Istana with my family on 14 June 1991), shared that many people begin to turn to God or religion only when they were seriously sick or were in extreme difficulties. This is truth. Many people turned to appreciate God only during times of darkness, or difficulties.
Day & night are inevitable. It is a cycle. We cannot change it. After good times are bad times, and vice versa. Clever people will understand this cycle & use it to their advantage, especially those in business. They control their investments. They prepare for bad times during good times.
In the day, shadows are caused by the blockage of light. The stronger the light, the darker the shadow. Even in the midst of the daylight of prosperity, there will be shadows.
The late Helen Keller (the blind, deaf & dumb wonder lady) said: ‘Keep your face in the sunshine & you will never see the shadow.’ She could not see, and yet, she shared about sunshine & shadow. It is the clarion call to see the truth, the positives. If we set our eyes & hearts on the light, shadows will be behind us.
In broad day light, some people see only shadows. They allow obstacles to block their vision of living. They wear permanent sun glasses. They live in permanent untruths. They need to take away their sun glasses, to see & live in truth, not lies.
Our emotions determine how we live the night & day. Emotions can either inspire or despair us. Negative emotions can drain our energies, causing physical illness to take existence. Healthy emotions propel us to great heights of joy & achievements.
As leaders, we need to control & cultivate our emotions. There are bright & dark emotions. The choice is ours.
The emotionally steady leader is:
Kind but not weak
Strong but not rude
Bold but not a bully
Humble but not timid
Humorous but not stupid.

~Dancing with God ~ When I meditated on the word GUIDANCE,
I was drawn to"dance" at the end of the word.
I reflected upon how doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes this and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness,
and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word GUIDANCE.
When I saw "G," I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i."
"God, "u" and "i" dance." !
God, you, and I dance.
This statement is what guidance means to me.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies be upon you and your family
on this day and everyday.
May you abide in Him as He abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting Him to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.

Imagine this happening to you...
One Sunday morning during service, a 1,000 member congregation was surprised to see two men enter...
... both covered from head to toe in black and carrying submachine guns.
One of the men proclaimed:
"Anyone willing to take a bullet for Christ remain where you are."
Immediately, the choir fled...
Some pastors fled...
and most of the congregation fled...
Out of the 1,000, only 20 remained.
The man who had spoken took off his hood...
He then looked at the preacher and said:
"Ok pastor, I got rid of all the hypocrites...
... Now you may begin your service. Have a nice day"
And the 2 men turned and walked out.

It's funny how simple it is for people to thrash God.
And then wondered why the world is in the condition it is today.
Funny how we believe what the Newspapers say...
but question what the Bible says...
Funny how everyone WANTS to go to heaven...
provided they do not have to think, believe, say or do anything the Bible says.
Funny how someone can say: "I believe in God."
but still follow satan (who, by the way, also "believes in God").
Funny how you can send a thousand funny jokes thru email and they spread like wildfire.
But when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, you think twice about sharing.
Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar, and obscene pass freely through cyberspace.
But the public discussion of Jesus is suppressed in the school and work place.
FUNNY, ISN'T IT?
Funny how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday.
But be an invisible Christian the rest of the week.

I had enjoyed myself today when our lecturer Mr Richard Mak invited us to his condo to play his board games called "Zeores to Heroes" testing our entrepreneurial abilites. Although time was rather short, it was definitely fruitful.

Forgiveness can be cultivated and taught!
Jimmy Teo explains:
My friend was hysterical when he found that his younger brother (influenced by glue sniffing) killed his dad in a fit of anger, about 10 years ago. It was very difficult for him to forgive his murderer brother. After a good 8 years of mental anguish, he finally forgave his brother, a year before the prison release. When he did so, he felt great relief & joy. He even got a job for his brother. They are now very close with each other.
Revenge is the fruit of unforgiveness. The victim is often the one who could not forgive; resulting in mental anguish & torture which will affect his whole being including others, especially family members. The chain effect goes on, causing more damages. When forgiveness sets in, there will be peace & joy.
Many good friends & families broke up due to very small misunderstanding & petty matters. If one learns how to say 'sorry' & sincerely meant so, there will be less troubles & court cases. Pride is the main cause. To be happy, & at peace, one must be humble & knows how to forgive.
There will always be misunderstanding. When people find us understanding & forgiving, we will win a lot of good friends. People will trust us. People are always watching us. When we are forgiving, misunderstanding will be displaced.
My Myanmar friend further reminded me to add this statement: 'Do not do unto others what we do not want others to do to us.' It means simply that if we want forgiveness, we need to forgive. Take the initiative.
FORGIVENESS UNLOCKS THE FLOODGATES OF JOY AND SWEETNESS DILUTING THE BITTER POISON UNTIL IT FLUSHES AWAY.

At age 19, Jenny* is into vice trade. She was introduced to prostitution at the age of 14.
Margaret* is a 35 year old unmarried woman with 12 kids. She uses her kids to "retain" a man.
Kimberly* is a 15 year old student with a 35 year old boyfriend. The boyfriend is in jail for having sex with a juvenile.
All these are real life cases happening in Singapore.
A maid was found in the toilet one day and she gave birth to a baby with the unbilical cord still attached when the owner came back. The maid said: "Not mine mam!"
In one of Singapore's Tertiary Sector, a foreign student gave birth in the toilet of her hostel and she aborted the baby herself, using gardening tools.
What will happen to all those unwanted (and hopefully alive) babies?
The whole month of January 2007 had already seen 2 cases of unwanted pregnancies, both who are 15 year old school-going, kids.
In China, a baby was found literally swimming in faeces. An emergency rescue was called to the scene and faeces were furiously pumped out of her lungs.
At night, volunteers will wade in the paddy fields because it is a common place for dumping babies. Girl babies.
A study shows that those who abandoned their babies, 90% were abandoned themselves.
Those who give birth out of wedlock, 95% of them were born out of wedlock themselves.
A kid that had experienced love (not monetarily) lives happier in poverty than one that had not experienced love, among his riches.
Who are we to blame? The parents? A handful of the parents are really good people. Good people who makes bad decisions. And they are paying for it in prison.
A lot of kids lose interest in school during, or after, primary 3. And I think this is very very accurate for me.
But my question again, what do we do with all those kids?
Sanctuary House
Take some time off to view this website. Better still, give back to society, be a sponsor / care giver.
Sanctuary House is not a place where you can freely dump your babies there. They will have a thorough assessment of you and to deem whether you are worthy for this cause because they are providing the babies with love, care, shelter, and food, all free of charge. Most importantly, Sanctuary House will not encourage the repercussions of your unsafe sexual behaviour and to "pok" one baby for them every 9 months or so. It is not the place where you can make love, give birth, and dump your baby there.
Once assessed, the babies will go to foster homes to be taken care of. These homes are volunteers who have the money, and the time but have no cause for it. Adoption is also possible.
What had amazed me was the figures. The number of 15 year old girls going for abortion/abandoning of babies. Not like they would have their youthful figures anymore. I personally feel that education is not sufficient by itself. Everytime something horrible happens, we always say that they are "uneducated".
I asked a question.
What is the deadliest weapon on Earth?
Aunties with umbrellas.
They will push and peforate you with the tip of their brollys just to get their way.
Uneducated? Well.. perhaps partially...
But one thing is for sure, the moral behaviour of our youths are plunging at an alarming rate. 15 is the average age for a girl to get, horny. This is with reference to the above cases in Singapore.
No matter how educated you are, but if you have substandard morality, education is thus useless! Maybe the sex education made them more horny instead.

But for those who are not that extreme, perhaps you can also look into the contribution of some donations to the sterilization of stray cats so that do not reproduce and make themselves a nuisance.
Don't cull cats.

Many studies shows that the culling of cats creates a vacuum (a high lack of cats in the area) and that other cats, being territorial will move in and create another colony. On the other hand, sterilization of cats will stop them from breeding, easier for the volunteers to manage and because there will still be cats around, the number will be significantly reduced.
NEVER CALL THE MORONIC PEST AGENCY BECAUSE THEY WILL REMOVE THE CAT, BRING IT TO AVA AND IT WILL BE INJECTED WITH LETHAL POISON.
That was how my Miko suffered.
Bloody neighbours. Especially the one who called up the stupid pest agency to take her away. Oops. I should learn some self censorship.
